3. Doctor Verification
Remedi does not provide receipts or documentation for insurance reimbursement purposes. All consultations are user-paid, regardless of whether the professional is located locally or internationally.
AI Symptom Checker – Terms of Use
Remedi offers an AI-based symptom checker for general informational purposes only.
By using the AI symptom checker, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The tool does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment plans, or prescriptions.
- The results are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or care.
- The AI tool may generate incomplete, generalized, or inaccurate outputs.
- You must not rely solely on AI-generated information to make healthcare decisions.
- Any medical concerns should be discussed with a licensed doctor or qualified healthcare professional
Remedi does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or clinical relevance of AI-generated responses.
Limitation of Liability – AI Tools
- Remedi is not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated outputs.

No Emergency or Urgent Care
Remedi does not provide:
- Emergency services
- Urgent care
- Ambulance or crisis intervention
In emergencies, users must contact local emergency services immediately.
Doctors & Medical Consultations
Global Doctors
- International doctors provide consultation and medical guidance only
- They cannot prescribe medication in Canada
- Advice should be used for informational and second-opinion purposes
Canadian / Local Doctors
- Prescription authority depends on the doctor’s provincial licensing
- Remedi does not guarantee prescriptions or medical outcomes
Wellness Professionals
Wellness professionals may include (but are not limited to):
- Nutritionists
- Therapists (non-clinical)
- Fitness and lifestyle coaches
- Holistic and preventive care professionals
Wellness Services
- Are not medical treatment
- Do not involve diagnosis or prescription
- Should not replace licensed medical care
Appointments, Payments & Rescheduling
- All services are paid in advance
- Appointments may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before
- No cancellations or refunds
- Missed appointments are non-refundable
User Responsibilities
Users agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
- Not impersonate another individual
- Use the platform lawfully and respectfully
Remedi reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse,
false information, or policy violations.
Limitation of Liability
- Remedi is not responsible for medical decisions or outcomes
- Professionals are independent service providers
- Remedi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to
conflict of law principles.
